In addition to providing practical solutions that increase the value of architectural facilities and enhance their efficiency, and due to the profound impact of technology, there is a need to test their products, especially in the field of housing, where technology is a two-edged dimension that enhances the positive aspects and can pose a number of problems.

In this context, a number of construction technologies are being offered as a solution to architecture, especially in the area of housing. These techniques include pre-fabrication using cold-rolled steel plates, which present themselves as an appropriate, efficient, economical and quick solution to solve the housing problem. The objective of the study is to: Examine the aspects of this technique and measure its advantages by measuring its efficiency in the specific aspects of housing.

According to the objective of the study, it took four procedural steps. The first was a statement of the cognitive aspects and frameworks for the construction of the buildings and their specific objectives, and technical aspects and dimensions (pre-fabrication using light-alloy iron).
The second step is to develop a theoretical framework for the performance aspects and features adopted for building techniques, which is a base through which the selected technology features can be measured as a study objective.

And then move (under third procedural step) - to measure the specific aspects of the theoretical framework and apply it to a number of projects approved for this technique, under a technical and field study. And then the fourth procedural step represented by drawing conclusions from the empirical study and the general and detailed conclusion
2019-11-25T05:47:25+00:00 Copyright (c) 2019 Mufeed Ehsan Shok Alomairi, Oday Abbas Aboud, Hadeel Mowaffaq Mahmood http://iqjap.alkafeel.info/index.php/iqjap/article/view/485 The Influence of Beliefs on Iraqi Architecture 2019-11-24T20:12:57+00:00 Riyam Rajab Fenjan Al-Amara riyam.r8785@gmail.com Ibrahim Jawad Kadhim Al-Yuosif 123367@uotechnology.edu.iq
Continue or discontinue scope between the previous & the current architecture and their relation to the future requires orientation to know their references related to many beliefs considering it Cultural & historical values give to architecture local identity. It also defines the degree of relationship between the human, society and its connection to the place. The beliefs are appeared by creating architecture link to cultural heritage and it is expressed by using the technology of the era. This research introduced many architectural studies to determine the research problem, which was "Lack of knowledge about the belief effect on architecture production in deferent periods, and its role to inquiry continuity & discontinuity between the past and present". The study goals are to clarify the impact of belief on the Iraqi architectural production at different periods, extending from the emergence of Iraqi architecture to the present, and to affect the differing belief at formulation structure on the level of the exterior of the building: By dividing the effect of belief into four positions. "The prevalence of religious beliefs – Multiple beliefs – Lack of beliefs – emergence new beliefs". Each position differed in its treatment according to the time limit with adopting models designed in one of position or with two together to indicate the impact of different belief in them. This research reached many conclusions and recommendations for achieving the research objective.
2019-11-18T18:01:07+00:00 Copyright (c) 2019 Riyam, Ibrahim Jawad Kadhim Al-Yuosif http://iqjap.alkafeel.info/index.php/iqjap/article/view/484 Design Requirement for Contextual Integration for Trainstations 2019-11-13T13:34:48+00:00 Ammar Kareem Dhumad Alfatlawi ammar_kareem8@yahoo.com Abdullah Saadoon Salman Almaamouri abdullah.asadoon@yahoo.com
The buildings of the railway stations are one of the important buildings that distinguish the cities and give them their identity and their special character through their association with the memory of the society that contains them. The importance of these centers as commercial and cultural centers, as well as their main function in transporting passengers and goods, To the atrophy of its effectiveness, so it must be protected and developed to contribute effectively in the performance of its diverse activities in an integrated manner and to serve the community at various levels and encourage the use of public transport. Therefore, many studies dealing with the concept of contextual integration of train stations have been discussed in an implicit or major manner. However, these studies were characterized by selectivity and lack of comprehensiveness in the treatments, especially with respect to the aspects of the contextual integration of the station in terms of design. Thus, the research problem was identified "the need to create a comprehensive theoretical view of the concept of contextual integration in the design of attractive local train stations " was identified. The aim of the research is to "crystallize a comprehensive theoretical conception of the aspects of contextual integration in the design of attractive local train stations".
2019-11-13T09:04:32+00:00 Copyright (c) 2019 Ammar Kareem Dhumad Alfatlawi, Abdullah Saadoon Salman Almaamouri http://iqjap.alkafeel.info/index.php/iqjap/article/view/483 The Ethics of Architectural Education in Academic Institutions 2019-11-11T05:53:41+00:00 Abdullah Saadoon Salman Almaamouri abdullah.asadoon@yahoo.com
The research deals with the concept of moral education as one of the most influential concepts in the process of teaching the foundations of architectural design. It defines it as "an integrated educational program organized according to the highest moral values within an academic institution concerned with architecture. Its program consists of three main elements: Educational and assessment tools and assessment, and requires reliability and quality Crickshten for the maintenance of architecture as a profession to the level of comprehensive or partial reform, which requires professors to perpetuate the modernization of methods of moral architectural education as well as the development, resulting in innovative architectural texts Individual and society", thus research problem is in the (development of a comprehensive theoretical perception about the ethics of education architecture). Therefore, the research aims at clarifying the strategy of the moral education of architecture as well as its foundations and the methods of evaluating its quality. Accordingly, the research assumes that the indicators of the ethics of architectural education have a positive effect in the formulation of creative architectural productions. In order to address the research issue and achieve the objectives of the research and validation of the hypothesis was first built knowledge framework, and then a comprehensive theoretical framework of the ethics of architectural education derived from the architectural ideas and support to be embodied in final form in three main indicators, namely: the strategy of moral education for architecture, and the foundations of moral education of architecture, And then an exploratory study evaluating the quality of education and its ethics in the Department of Architecture / University of Technology. Finally, a set of conclusions were reached which show the control of the practice of architectural education according to all its indicators Creative abstraction.

Keywords: Education, Ethics, moral education, architecture
2019-10-24T06:09:16+00:00 Copyright (c) 2019 Abdullah Saadoon Salman Al-Maamouri http://iqjap.alkafeel.info/index.php/iqjap/article/view/425 Role of Technology Utilization Reviving Al-Ukhaidir 2019-11-11T05:53:40+00:00 Mahdi Saleh AL-Ataabi alfaraj200824@yahoo.com Karrer Nadhim AL-Shahmanie kararrubaie@yahoo.com
The monuments are considered as evidence, landmarks and important memory for events that associated with characteristics. It also represents a civilized, cultural and economic wealth accumulated through ages. Heritage has two main aspects; physical and moral. Recently, considerable efforts have been devoted to conserve many heritage buildings that have historic values so as to restore them. This restoration can reinforce the links between those ancient buildings and their environment.

There is a lack of enough knowledge about the concept of the utilization of new technological advancements and its impact on the reuse of historical buildings with symbolic value. To address this issue, this research presents a detailed investigation about the relationship between the two concepts in order to arrive to the best strategies for reviving. Such strategies will be applied on Al-Ukhaidir fortress. This was achieved by analyzing and evaluating previous studies where the reviving strategies were applied. This research will present a brief review for theses studies and the main derived conclusions as well as special recommendations for activation of the Al-Ukhaidir through selected techniques (strategies).
2019-09-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2019 Mahdi Saleh A.H.
